The expression of deterministic and stochastic components in chaotic series of mean daily air temperature in Nizhni Novgorod has been analyzed. On the background of stochastic noisiness of the series in the last decades, an enhancement of the deterministic chaos has been revealed manifesting in long periods of relatively stable tempera-ture followed by its sharp changes (meandering dynamics). The analysis has been done using the methods of attrac-tor restoration in the phase space, calculation of the highest Lyapunov exponent and the analysis of the wavelet skel-eton spectrum. |
