Qualitative research has been carried out of Slinko - Chumakov system which adequately describes the chemical processes in the reaction of oxidation of molecular hydrogen on the metal catalyst surfaces. Using MathCAD soft-ware, all possible phase portraits of the dynamical system have been revealed while changing its parameters. It has been shown that in such a nonlinear system the Andronov-Hopf bifurcation is realized: birth of a limit cycle from saddle-focus [1, 2], as well as bifurcation of the complex limit set of phase trajectories (Slinko - Chumakov attrac-tor). A period-doubling bifurcation has been observed in the vicinity of the saddle-focus [1, 2] with negative saddle values.
