The paper discusses the results of theoretical and empirical research into the fundamental problem of activity regulation. The role of self-esteem and self-acceptance as activity regulators is demonstrated in the context of psy-chological barriers and conditions for effective implementation of information technologies in education. A theoreti-cal model is proposed of the dependence of a person's self-acceptance on his/her self-esteem in different social roles according to their relative personal importance. The nature and strength of the impact of educational institutions' organizational culture on educators' self-esteem and self-acceptance are identified. Recommendations for optimiza-tion of innovations implementation in an organization are formulated. |
