Heterogeneous synthesis of nitrates on the surface of alkali-halide microcrystals has been investigated when the
crystal-air system is activated by X-ray radiation. The investigations of nitrate crystallization on the surface of activated
alkali-halide microcrystals have been carried out using electron microscopy and X-ray structural analysis.
Nitrate accumulation has been studied at various dozes and power of X-ray radiation to forecast possible realizations
of heterogeneous radiation-chemical reactions in the atmosphere. |
