Abstract
A method is proposed for quasi-optimal signal processing in an adaptive antenna array (AAA) receiving a signal from a moving source with unknown angular coordinates. The presence of signal angular dispersion due to multipath propagation in the communication channel is assumed. The AAA configuration is considered to be arbitrary. The method proposed reduces the amount of computation compared with the optimal method, where the AAA weight vector is chosen as an eigenvector of the signal correlation matrix, while maintaining the high efficiency of signal reception.
