Currently, according to Federal state educational standards, the curricula for the specialities and areas of studies in
the humanities as well as social and economic sciences include the discipline «The concepts of modern natural sciences». In
the present paper, the authors experience in the teaching of the above-mentioned discipline to the students of the Faculty
of Mechanics and Mathematics of UNN (speciality 080116 «Mathematical Methods in Economics», area of studies 080100
«Economics», masters program «Mathematical Methods in Analysis of Economics») is summarized.
