| By adding H3PO4, one can increase the growth rate of the {100} faces of KH2PO4 single crystals, thus making it
possible to reduce the growth time without loss of crystal quality. The temporal dependence of the growth velocities
of the symmetry-equivalent {100} faces has been investigated. Multivalent metal impurities in solution slow down
the growth of the {100} faces, cause its stoppages, and degrade crystal quality, which is confirmed by the increase in
the X-ray rocking curve half-width. |
