A field measurement method has been suggested to study some physical parameters of an aggressive chemical
environment such as the speed of sound and its temperature dependence as well as the volumetric thermal expansion
coefficient. The method eliminates the direct contact of the measuring equipment with the environment being studied.
The possibility of measuring these parameters is demonstrated by the example of a natural gas odorant. |
