| The turning of the noun stem into a relatively self-sufficient grammar unit is treated as one of the modes of form-ing derived names often alternative to other grammar devices used in the derived names of the similar meaning. This takes place mostly in the adaptation of borrowings, and in different languages the extent to which this device is used depends on inherent characteristics of their own system of grammatical means employed in the processes of nomina-tion. |
