| The article deals with the semantic features and structural role of the concept «dolgoterpenie» representing the Russian national mentality and the nature of its interpretation in Turgenev's later works. An analysis is given of lin-guistic features of the concept's presentation, its associative background (set by the oxymoron in the title - «living relics») is described. |
