The author examines the linguistic image of a patriot in modern public discourse in Russia, Poland and the Czech Republic and compares linguistic representation of the main features of the corresponding concept in the Slavic languages. We also consider how the idea of patriotism and its linguistic representation are implemented in various types of modern discourse. |
