Abstract
The possibility to create high-resolution THz spectrometers based on quantum cascade lasers is considered. Some problems have been revealed in using the quantum-cascade lasers as radiation sources of THz frequency range and possible solutions have been suggested. hot electron bolometer (HEB) mixers and detectors are proposed to be used as radiation receivers for the high-resolution THz spectrometer.
