Abstract
The vapor pressure in the system GeI4 - S at molar ratio of components 1:2.6 has been measured by the static method using a membrane-gauge manometer in the temperature range from 150?C to 300?C. Experimental values of vapor pressure are in good agreement with the calculated data obtained by the equilibrium constant method. According to these calculation data, the degree of transformation of germanium tetraiodide to germanium disulfide changes from 2% to 26% in the temperature range from 200?С to 500?С.
