| To build a dynamic stress-strain diagram, it is necessary to know the loading pulse of the measuring rod impacted
end in the experiment. To determine the pulse using the readings of two strain gauges placed near the impacted
and supported ends of the measuring rod during the multiple passage of a strain wave along the rod, we have
developed an algorithm to calculate velocities and stresses based on the method of characteristics. |
