| We have revealed that warping may occur due to the emergence in the spectrum of the torsional wave of an elastic
double frequency (second harmonic) "forbidden" by the equations of nonlinear theory. The dependence of the
second harmonic amplitude on the wavelength has been determined: in the longwave range it can reach half the amplitude
of the fundamental wave, whereas in the shortwave range - only its quarter. |
