| The results of a study into the publications in specialist magazines on the state of excursion activity in the city of
Nizhni Novgorod in 1900-1917 are presented. Russian excursion magazines and bulletins of the early 20th century are
briefly characterized. We examine the materials published on this topic, determine their genre and analyze the content
of publications. Main trends in the description of excursion activity in periodical press are revealed. Some areas for
further thematic research are outlined. |
