The problem of subjectivity is studied as a phenomenon marked by literary criticism in the realist literature of the early twentieth century. We consider the following aspects: the author's identity and its influence on the text, the author's attention to the subjective aspects of individual characters, psychologism of the realist prose, the synthesis of the descriptive and the expressive. The study is based on the works of well-known authors published in the collections of the "Znanie" association. |
