Abstract
An instructional approach to using graphics-based means of students' methodological culture development is proposed as an illustrative and efficient method for teaching physics in secondary school. It is shown that in the study of nonlinear oscillations the graphics-based method is a tool that students can use to avoid straightforward attempts of solving nonlinear differential equations
