Abstract
The organization of teaching of physics to students in the area of studies «Adaptive physical culture» in modern conditions is considered. The relation of physics to professional disciplines and to the quality of graduates' training is identified. It is proposed to use a differentiated approach to teaching of physics taking into account students' cognitive styles.
