Abstract
The Obama administration has begun to adapt the Bush doctrine of global dominance to the new alignment of forces in the international arena. Some analysts insist that Barack Obama just continues the foreign policy of his predecessor. However, the main points of the new strategy include the rejection of unilateral action, since the US attempts to implement its global imperial aspirations have been faced with the realities of today's "post-American world".
