We study the header-finale complex in B. Zemenkov's poem collection "Stearin with a streak of gray: an expressionist's war poetry". It is found that header-finale complex components are related in terms of their content and emotional tone to the main body of the poem collection. Both in the header-finale complex and in some poems of the collection, one can see a link to the poetics of Imaginism, and the author's desire to supplement the technical discoveries of Imaginism with an emotional component.
