The phenomenon of trust in technology is examined. We discuss the perception of the concepts "technology" and "trust in technology" by locomotive engineers. The following components of the phenomenon under study are identified: competence, reliability, predictability, and unity. It is shown that the trust in technology is a mental attitude which is manifested in the face of uncertainty, and is a regulator of professional conduct. |
