| The effect of microwaves and heat on survival rate of lysogenic bacteria E. coli and the mutant bacteriophage ? was investigated. Microwaves affect the survivability of E. coli cell cultures. Specific effects of electromagnetic radiation can be masked by heat action. The cells and the bacteriophages are most vulnerable to the frequency-modulated microwave radiation. |
