The widespread metabolic syndrome and subsequent development of diabetes and cardiovascular complications determine a high level of scientists' and physicians' interest to this symptom complex. An extremely important and yet unexplored question is about the diagnosis of metabolic syndrome at a subclinical stage of the development of complications. Moreover, it is necessary to control the efficiency of the treatment course to enforce an individual approach in the selection of therapeutic programs.
