The influence of radiation of low-temperature gas-discharge plasma on the resistance of erythrocytes has been studied. Shortwave ultraviolet light has been shown to be the main acting factor of the low-temperature plasma radiation. With increasing exposure time of radiation on water and saline, pH decreases, hydrogen peroxide and other oxidants accumulate. Cell resistance increases after short-term exposure and decreases with increasing exposure time. |
