The effect of ultraviolet (UV) radiation and incoherent pulse radiation (IPR) on mycelium and embryonic structures of some micromycetes has been studied. The sporicidal action of IPR has been shown to be comparable to that of UV. The vegetative mycelium of the investigated test cultures has been found to be non-sensitive to the radiations applied. Three consecutive sessions of UV irradiation had no inhibitory effect on the micromycete embryonic structures, while the action of IPR completely inhibited their viability. |
