Abstract
Simulation of dispersion compensators on the basis of nonuniform fiber Bragg gratings is considered. The formulation and solution of the problem of dispersion compensator multifunctional synthesis by numerical methods of nonlinear mathematical programming is given. An example of solving the problem of synthesis of multifunctional dispersion compensator for fiber-optic communication lines is considered. Characteristics and optimum parameters of the synthesized nonuniform fiber grating are presented.
