Maximum usable frequency variations along inclined and NVIS radio paths during 2006 and 2008 total solar eclipses are studied using the oblique sounding method. The technique of electron density profile restoration at a control point of sounding (СPS) has been developed. Recombination coefficients at СPSs of the radio paths studied have been calculated. The effects of eclipse on NVIS ionograms and differential ionograms have been investigated. |
