Abstract
A mathematical model of the discharge of iron lamellar and non-lamellar electrodes in a nickel-iron cell is presented. The model allows one to calculate the current distribution and the electrolyte concentration over the electrode thickness. The basic computational mathematical formulas are given. The model has been implemented in Delphi 6.0 visual programming environment. A satisfactory agreement between calculated and experimental discharge curves has been shown.
