Abstract
It has been shown by the microcalorimetric method and IR spectroscopy that the interaction between the cellulose macromolecules of fabric fibers and (meth)acrylic (co)polymer is due solely to van der Waals forces. The enthalpies of dissolution of acrylic (co)polymers based on butyl methacrylate in ethyl acetate and chloroform have been determined.
