| The article deals with individualizing denominations of objects of hydrography and relief constituting one of the sectors of English folk tale toponymic space. The research of structural, semantic and functional stylistic characteristics of hydronyms and oronyms reveals an organic combination of mythological and scientific ideas of the English ethnos concerning world segmentation which are verbalized in the folk tale picture of the world. |
