A method for preconcentration of aromatic hydrocarbons from the air has been developed. The method is based on the use of atmospheric moisture as a natural collector of impurities from the air. The impurities were extracted from the condensed moisture by means of liquid microextraction. The integral factor of the aromatic hydrocarbon condensate preconcentration was (2–6)•104. The extract was analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The detection limits achieved were in the range of 1•10-5–3•10-5 µg/m3. |
