This article provides an analysis of the role of organizational culture in the development of an innovative university.
Through the example of N.I.Lobachevsky State University of Nizhni Novgorod - National Research University,
it has been demonstrated that the organizational culture of a modern Russian innovative university belongs to the
same type as the organizational culture of leading high-tech companies. We have also determined the particular aspects
of organizational culture of research and educational departments in the fields of natural sciences, sociology,
economics, and liberal arts.
