Abstract
Temperature dependencies of unit cell parameters were investigated using a high-temperature XRD method. For the first time, thermal expansion coefficients of 10 compounds with spinel structure were determined. The values of thermal deformations were shown to depend on the ionicity degree of M-O bonds and the tolerance factor.
