Abstract
We have studied chronopotentiometric and chronovoltamperometric characteristics of cadmium oxidation in alkaline electrolyte obtained in the experimental thin-layer cell. Diffusion and concentration coefficients of tetrahydroxocadmate ions have been calculated. The properties of solid-phase layers formed on the cadmium surface have been explored using the Faraday impedance method.
