For the first time in the Russian literary studies, B.A. Sadovskoys novel «The Sixth Hour» is analyzed. Its underlying
biblical message is identified that calls for the comparison of the internal and external plots: the real events
in Russia during the revolutionary turmoil and the myth of the death and resurrection of Christ. The genre peculiarities
of the novel and the relevance of the issues raised by the author are examined in detail. |
