The existing approaches to differentiation of terms and nomens are considered. Giving some examples from
English-language special Internet vocabulary that registers both terms and nomens, the author dwells on reflecting
the subjectiveness of a practically-oriented scientists world perception as a distinctive feature of a nomen. It is
shown that the feature is characteristic of only 35% of lexical items, and therefore cannot be recognized as a distinctive
sign of a nomen. |
