We consider the development of one-company towns in Russia at the present stage, identify the strategic priorities of one-company towns, and analyze the main problems to be resolved in order to maintain and accelerate the development of one-company towns in the Russian Federation. This article contains policy recommendations for the development of one-company towns, which include the tasks of federal, regional and local importance. It is argued that that development of one-company towns is now one of the components of innovation development.
