A method has been developed for the determination of the material thermal conductivity coefficient by the dependence of the slope of the DSC melting curve linear part for a number of metals upon the flow of heat through the test samples of different thickness. The joint analysis of thermographic testing results on quartz glass reference samples and those of (TeO
2)
0.72(WO
3)
0.24(La
2O
3)
0.04 glass has made it possible to find the values of the thermal conductivity of the latter as ?( Т , K) = 1.13(429.75); 1.27(505.05); 1.40(600,65) W/m?K with an error of 2% at the melting points of indium, tin and lead, respectively.
