The notion of generalized suspended foliations is introduced. An interpretation of holonomy groups of these foliations is given. Their relation to integrable Ehresmann connections is found. The generalized suspended foliation is characterized by the existence of a special complete Riemannian metric with respect to which the foliation is totally geodesic. A criterion of stability of leaves in the sense of Ehresmann and Reeb is proved. |
