In this paper, we address the problem of «self-government» of prisoners in Nazi concentration camps and consider its causes, mechanisms, and the importance of this phenomenon for the survival of the prisoners. Special attention is given to the evaluation of camp «self-government» in the works of European scholars - historians, sociologists, and psychologists. |
