| The Soviet centrally planned economic system produced a peculiar model for territorial distribution of labor and capital. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, market-oriented reforms ignited a territorial redistribution of capital and labor. From our point of view, sustainable economic growth in modern Russia cannot be achieved without effectiveness-oriented regional development policy and without building a market-based organic territorial structure. |
