In this article, we study in detail the distinctive features and modern trends in the functioning of labour and capital markets in the Russian construction industry. The structure of labour force, discriminatory and compensating elements of labour prices, and new forms of employment relationship in the construction industry of the Russian Federation are examined. The condition of capital assets, the need to develop leasing and new forms for attracting borrowed funds in the construction industry of the Russian Federation are revealed.
