| The article considers the letters by N.A. Zakharyina to A.I. Herzen written in 1835 – 1838. Letters by N.A. Zakharyina are interpreted as a way of constructing a “historical female «I»”. The ways of formation and formulation of female identity are described by means of an epistolary narration. «Ego» (the identity concept) is the central category of the auto-documentary text. |
