This article represents a collection of terms/names that are synonyms of the term “lexical correspondence” found in the special linguistic literature. A wide range of such synonyms shows the interest in this problem and the ambiguity of its solution. The dictionary of lexical correspondences of four European languages provides the material for quantitative analysis. Based on this material, we have calculated the percentage of common vocabulary in relation to the basic bodies of the languages being studied.
