| Lexical and grammatical peculiarities of term nomination are considered. Six term-forming parts of speech are defined and subdivided into free, semibound and bound, according to their nature and productivity in term and term element formation. The functions, role and reasons for the use of each part of speech in one-member and multi-member term structure are described. |
