Time-periodic perturbations are considered of the Duffing–van-der-Pol equation with a homoclinic «figure-eight» for a saddle. An analytical study of the behavior of solutions in the regions outside of the «figure-eight» is carried out which is focused first of all on the analysis of the resonance zones. The behavior of the separatrices of the saddle fixed point of the Poincare map in the small neighborhood of the unperturbed «figure-eight» is established. The results of numerical studies are presented.
