Abstract
An employee has the right to terminate an employment contract of one’s own free will. In this case, the employee has a number of responsibilities: to notify the employer in advance about the termination of employment, to work conscientiously until termination of employment, and sometimes even to pay compensation to the employer because of the termination. Labor laws of Russia and France often treat the termination at the initiative of the employee differently.
