| The article focuses on the temporal structure of the forgotten novel by V.A. Sollogub «Over the Edge» (published in 1885) and on the correlation of story-time and fictional time in this literary work. The plot-forming role of the «highway» chronotope (M.M. Bakhtin) is clarified; the latter is a link between different topoi and social worlds that connects various destinies, which imparts a capacious worldview to the novel. |
