| This article examines the peculiarities of Germany’s image formed by Russian writers that was based on German writers' works. The proposed approach gives a possibility to study the reasons for an interest in German culture and literature, to understand Germany as an «imaginary country» in Russian romantic prose and its perception as a «real country» in travelоgues. |
